Plus Size Bridesmaids Trunk Show Nov. 9-11th at Strut Bridal Salon
As the southwest’s only wedding dress store specializing in curvy and plus size brides, we thought we should be the only bridal salon to bring you a one-of-a-kind plus size bridesmaid dress trunk show November 9-11th! For one weekend only, Friday-Sunday, we're bringing in a huge assortment of gowns not regularly carried in our Phoenix store. Bring in your entire wedding party for big savings!
While we carry bridesmaid dresses in sizes 12 and up, we can order from size 0-30 to fit any member of your wedding party. As because bridesmaid dresses take 8-12 weeks to order, now is the perfect time for spring and summer 2013 bridesmaids to order their gowns!
During the bridesmaid trunk show, we will be offering the following discount for dresses ordered and paid in full that weekend:
- 10% off one dress ordered
- 15% off two-four dresses ordered
- 20% off five or more dresses ordered.
They don’t have to be the same dress style or color, so brides can add a reception dress to the order and save big!

It's been awhile since we've done a Facebook contest, and we're especially excited to present this amazing opportunity to win a free boudoir photo session with Olivia Womack Photography! That's amazing, we know! Olivia's sessions can cost up to $195!!! (The photo album and hair/makeup are additional costs).

Here are the details:

Free Boudoir Photo Shoot Open House
We've scheduled our final curvy girl boudoir photo shoot for Friday, October 5th. If you've ever thought about doing a boudoir photo shoot, here's your opportunity to learn more!
Details:
- Thursday, August 16th, 5:30-7:30pm
- All ladies are invited--feel free to bring friends (you can get a private session with just three friends signed up!)
- Meet the photographer, hair and makeup stylist, and spray tan person
- Talk to lingerie specialists about finding the perfect outfits
- Ask questions and meet previous participants

Curvy Prom and Portrait Models Wanted!
In case you missed Strut's big news, we're carrying plus size prom dresses for 2012! We're so excited to bring a great shopping experience to Arizona high school girls. We've heard that buying a prom gown can be as difficult--and traumatic--as buying a plus size wedding dress was before we came along.
But we need some help spreading the news, so we're launching a Prom and Portrait Model Program, where you can model Strut's great prom gowns and earn credit toward your own prom dress and senior portrait session with Olivia Womack Photography (yep--you've seen her work; she does our curvy girl boudoir sessions)!
Here's how it works:
- Enter the contest on our Facebook page before end of day January 15th, 2012
- We'll pick winners, who are invited to the Mix and Mingle on Tuesday, January 24th
- Photo sessions are Tuesday, January 31st
- You'll receive free referral cards with your prom model photo on them to pass out to friends
- When your friends buy a dress at Strut, you'll get $20 towards your dress (up to the retail price of your dress) and they'll get a free accessory, like a necklace or pair of sparkly earrings (up to $29 value!).
Your photo session with Olivia will be scheduled for a later date, but you get a free portrait session ($195 value), and a $50 credit toward your senior portrait order for each student you refer who books a session with Olivia.
Who's eligible:
- Junior and senior girls are eligible, one each per Arizona high school
- Models must agree to model for any in-school prom shows (and may be asked to model for other local events such as a television news segment)
- Models cannot represent another store or photographer.
How to enter:
- Submit a clear, recent photo on our Facebook wall before end of day, January 15th, plus
- A 200 word (or less) essay describing your dream prom (dress, theme, date, dinner...we want to hear about it all!)
- Your high school and grade.

New Plus Size Panty Line--Meet the Designer!

beatrix privé makes its national debut with a two-day trunk show at Strut Bridal Salon in Phoenix on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5.
The line features luxury thong underwear created exclusively for women sized 16-20.
“Plus-size women no longer have to choose between ‘Granny Panties’ and ‘Trashy Panties’ ” says beatrix privé design director Jenny Davis, a fashion stylist and lifestyle magazine editor. For two years, Davis worked with real plus-size women to develop a comfortable, flattering and fabulous signature thong underwear design using colorful, luxury materials like silk charmeuse and imported lace.
The seven colorways in the beatrix privé debut collection, all made in the USA, are limited editions and will not be produced again once they’re sold out.
